There are alternative organizations that do not operate as traditional for-profit companies. Let’s expose these organizations and make them visible to the people. So let’s talk about what social enterprises are.
According to well-known professional definitions, social enterprises are created to provide an alternative solution to various social, environmental, and economic problems. Social enterprises are therefore meant to create social value.
They provide some innovative services or products for their selected target group, thereby improving the living conditions of the customers and the beneficiaries.
These organizations appear in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, social services, environmental protection solutions and other technology-oriented industries. But how do we imagine a social enterprise in practice?
Their frequent organizational activities include skill development of young people through some products or services, integration of disadvantaged groups into the labor market, social inclusion of excluded groups, finding and applying solutions to various health problems, and reducing the level of poverty.
