Resource-based economy

In a resource-based economy (RBE), all physical resources around the globe would be managed in a decentralized but uniform way โ€” the same way that many municipalities currently manage local utilities. The core requirement of resource-based economics is that resources of every kind are plentiful and not scarce. The first major benefit of an RBE is a higher degree of species and civilization sustainability. Sustainability is interrelated with the second major benefit, if not outright goal, of an RBE, which is the obsolescence of money and everything that goes with it โ€” including debt, speculation, and wealth inequality.
