Traveller Blend No. 40 Whiskey is the collaboration between Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Distillery. Stapleton and master distiller Harlen Wheatley tasted more than 50 blends before settling on Blend No. 40, a blend of straight whiskeys bottled at 90 proof with the brand's tagline: easy to drink, hard not to love.It leans sweet and smooth, with caramel, vanilla and honeyed grain on the nose, gentle oak and baking spice on the palate, and a soft, short finish. It is designed for company rather than contemplation, so pour it neat, over ice, or in a whiskey and ginger or a Gold Rush. The bottle carries Stapleton's signature on the label. This 750ml bottle is one of the most accessible ways to get Buffalo Trace-made whiskey and a good gift for a country music fan.
